Kim Kardashian is on the mend from a painful finger injury.
After a preview last week for July 18's The Kardashians showed her particularly bloody digit, the SKIMS mogul has now revealed what actually happened to her hand.
During the episode, Kim arrived at a doctor's office with her left hand's pointer and middle finger bandaged. The accident happened, she says, thanks to a mishap with "my big sliding door to my bathroom."
She "pulled it really hard, and then [her son] Saint [West] ran in with chips," she recalled. The door "when boom" and she groaned.
"I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground," she added.
The episode then showed a series of "graphic images," including her fingers turning gray and a bit of bone sticking out of her middle finger.
Kim then "grabbed the table and got on my knees ’cause I just saw all this blood. And it was my bone sticking out a little bit."
She told her son that she needed "help" and "ice," but "didn't scream."
"I didn't do anything but freeze,” she continued. "The pain is horrible. You can’t even describe the pain but your whole body goes into shock. It was more painful than childbirth."
Ultimately, Kim's doctor said she was healing well and wouldn't need an amputation. He did warn her, however, that there was a possibility her nail wouldn't grow back.
"Oh come on," she replied. "I’m going to invent a nail implant!"
This all began during a July 11 preview for the next week's episode. In a confessional, the 43-year-old told cameras that her finger's "tip broke off."
Earlier this year, Kim showed off her injured fingers in an Instagram Reel. During a video explaining what's inside her purse, she showed off the gauze she'd been using to wrap her middle and pointer fingers.
"I've been loving this look lately. It's very stylish," she joked. "No, I hurt myself, guys."
Kim later joked that her bandages were for "skincare." "I sacrificed my fingers for some beauty," she added.
The mom-of-four isn't the only Kardashian-Jenner dealing with a health scare. During the July 11 episode, matriarch Kris Jenner shared that she had to undergo a full hysterectomy after discovering a tumor on one of her ovaries.
"Dr. A said I’ve got to have my ovaries taken out, and I'm emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys,” she told her kids during an emotional tumor. “That’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown, in my tummy. So, this is a very sacred place to me.”
