The Blacklist’s Siya Malik Introduces Herself To FBI In Season 10 Clip

Meera Malik's daughter Siya Malik introduces herself to the task force in a new clip from The Blacklist season 10. CIA agent Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra) was a member of the secret task force that has been working closely with Raymond Reddington (James Spader) since season 1. Meera was killed in the season 1 finale by one of the men working for Milos Kirchoff, a formidable Blacklister known as Berlin. Now as The Blacklist enters season 10, Meera's daughter Siya Malik (Anya Banerjee) joins the show as an MI6 operative who is expected to work with the task force.

In a new clip from TV Insider, Siya can be seen meeting task force and FBI agents Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq). Ressler and Dembe do not seek out Siya knowing that she is Meera's daughter. When Ressler says that FBI Assistant Director Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) is the agent in charge of the current case, Siya shares that she knows Cooper runs an operation that is a secret even to most FBI agents. This leads to the revelation that her mother Meera used to work for the task force, creating her unexpected introduction with Ressler and Dembe.

What We Know About The Blacklist Season 10

Reddington getting in a taxi with hair and a beard in The Blacklist season 10

The Blacklist is ending with season 10 after airing on NBC since 2013. While Raymond Reddington will continue to work with the secret task force in taking down dangerous criminals known as Blacklisters, this work will be more challenging than ever given the season 9 cliffhanger. Wujing (one of the first Blacklisters Reddington and the task force took down in season 1) is determined to find and kill Reddington. Wujing now knows that Reddington is a government informant and has a list of other Blacklisters who can help him get revenge.

Reddington, Cooper, Ressler, and Dembe are all returning and will be joined by the new character Siya. A clip revealing Reddington's new look also shows that Aram Mojtabai (Amir Arison) will return to the series for the final season. Arison left the series after season 9 to star in the Broadway play The Kite Runner and pursue other projects.

Introducing the daughter of Meera Malik and bringing back one of the show's first Blacklisters demonstrates that the series is moving into its endgame. Season 10 is also expected to finally reveal Reddington's true identity and why he cared so deeply for Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). These long-running mysteries, Siya's introduction, and more will be explored when the final season of The Blacklist begins February 26 on NBC.
