Mariska was seen on the set of Season 26 of Law & Order: SVU on July 19, 2024.
Despite the blistering heat, the actress donned a black blazer and black pants while she portrayed Olivia Benson, her long-running character on the series.
Her black sunglasses possibly offered her some relief from the scorching sun.
In April 2024, Mariska stopped production for 20 minutes while filming a later episode of Season 25 of Law & Order: SVU.
While on set in The Big Apple, a frightened young girl approached the star, thinking she was a real-life police officer due to Olivia's badge.
The girl did not notice the cameras, film crew, or other actors on set.
She had become lost from her mom while in the Anne Loftus Playground in Fort Tryon Park, a source told People at the time.
Mariska stopped production to help the young girl find her mom.
Once the pair found each other, Mariska consoled them before returning to filming.

Law and Order SVU’s Mariska Hargitay slams 'wrong' call to fire Kelli Giddish and is 'fighting' to bring her back
When Season 21 premiered in September 2019, the hit NBC series became the longest-running drama in American prime-time television.
At the same time, Olivia became the longest-running prime-time live-action character in history.
In an interview with Variety published on May 1, 2024, Mariska spoke about her character and the importance of supporting sexual violence victims.
"The world and the culture needed an Olivia Benson, needed somebody to talk about these things and fight for survivors and believe victims," she said.

"The inception of the show was so genius that way, because Olivia was the loving mother that we all want and Stabler was the angry, protective father," the actress continued, referring to Elliot Stabler, played by actor Christopher Meloni.
"It was this beautiful, perfect construct of what an injured soul needed."
Mariska also spoke up for actress Kelli Giddish, whose character Amanda Rollins was written off the series after 12 years at the conclusion of Season 24.
"Kelli is my favorite actor to work with. Kelli is my heart. It's a sore subject. I have a lot of say on the show, but I didn't have enough there," she shared.
"I don't like not being listened to, especially when I'm right. That relationship was one of the most powerful relationships in television because you saw these two bada** women, so flawed and so there for each other."
Kelli returned as a special guest star for the Season 25 premiere in January 2024 and appeared again later in the season.
It is unknown if she will return to the show on a long-term basis.
