Fans of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit have a lot to look forward to in the next month. On September 3rd, Season 25 of the crime drama will be available to stream on Hulu.
Season 25 of Law & Order: SVU aired on NBC earlier this year ahead of its arrival in full on Hulu. Created by Dick Wolf, SVU stands not only as Law & Order's most popular spinoff series but also as one of the longest-running procedural dramas. While some seasons of the show may have been better received than others, SVU maintains its popularity and has been renewed for Season 26. Season 25 saw the returned series main-stays Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson, Ice-T as Sergeant Fin Tutuola, as well as Peter Scanvino as Dominick "Sonny" Carisi, and Octabio Pisano as Joe Velasco.
Law & Order: SVU follows the cases covered by the special victims unit. SVU is known for covering particularly heinous cases and often draws inspiration from real-life cases. In addition to Season 25 coming to Hulu, Season 26 will be released in October 2024.
Other Law & Order Shows Are Continuing On
SVU isn't the only Law & Order series receiving more content. The original Law & Order has also been renewed for a 24th season. While some fans believed Law & Order: Organized Crime should have received a renewal, fans of the franchise will not be starved for content anytime soon.
