Fans are excited about the show being brought back; however, some concern looms over how things will feel after some major character deaths last season.
“thinking about how swat got renewed for a season 8 how did we get here,” one concerned fan tweeted. “like i am happy and excited but also what. and now it’s gonna be different w/o street and luca and i’m sad.”
“I’m glad it was renewed, but…still disappointed about Luca and Street being gone,” another viewer wrote.
Despite not having a confirmed air date, the premiere is scheduled for the 2024–2025 season.

Former NCIS castmember returns to show for an episode
In the 1000th episode clip of NCIS, an original cast member makes a reappearance.
The long-running procedural series on CBS will mark a significant occasion with a case that will force the Special Agents to consider the agency’s past.
Some characters from NCIS spinoffs will be featured in the event, even though it won’t be a conventional crossover special.
However, HQ is left to handle the majority of the case’s solving as they race to piece together the evidence that will lead them to their enigmatic suspect. Fortunately, they have an unexpected ally who will lend them some assistance.
