FBI: Most Wanted Season 3 Images Reveal An Actor’s Return (But In A Bigger Role)

New images from FBI: Most Wanted reveal Sean Kaufman’s return to the crime drama series. Initially premiering in 2019, the show is a spinoff from Dick Wolf’s FBI series. This crime drama focuses on the division of the FBI tasked with hunting down the most notorious criminals while also exploring elements of the bureaucracy that guide this division.

Now, following the recent premiere of FBI: Most Wanted season 5, new images (via Collider) reveal that Sean Kaufman, who had previously appeared in one episode credited as Teenager, will be returning, but this time in a different and expanded role. He is expected to play the role of Eric Fontaine, an AI startup's Chief Technology Officer. Check out the images below:

Over the years, FBI: Most Wanted has experienced a change in its cast for several reasons. For instance, Julian McMahon, who played Special Agent Jess LaCroix, left the show in the third season, due to wanting to pursue other creative endeavors, and he was later replaced by Remy Scott.

Shortly before the premiere of the show, it was confirmed that Steven Williams had been cast in FBI: Most Wanted season 5. The veteran actor is expected to make his first appearance in episode 2 where he will be playing Ray Cannon Sr., the father of Special Agent Canon, played by Edwin Hodge.

While other mainstays of the show like Dylan McDermott, Edwin Hodge, and Keisha Castle-Hughes, who play Supervisory Special Agent Remy Scott, Special Agent Ray Cannon, and Special Agent Hana Gibson respectively, are expected to all reprise their role in FBI: Most Wanted season 5, reports have also confirmed that Alexa Davalos, who plays Special Agent Kristin Gaines, will not be returning for season 5.
