FBI: International isn’t on tonight (but we do have a return date in 2025)

A lot of eyes are on when FBI: International will air a new episode. The bad news is that’s not tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 24.

The fact that it’s Christmas Eve will tell you that the TV schedule is far from ordinary. We’re into the holiday programming across the broadcast networks, as more and more people go to see friends or want to spend quality time with family.

The linear ratings take a dip, and that means shows go off the air. We did warn you that FBI: International had aired its last new episode of 2024, and now we need to wait until 2025 for the show to return.

CBS has set a January return for FBI: International season 4

In some good news, CBS has set the return dates for its shows. FBI: International will be back on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and it will continue to air after new episodes of FBI season 7. You can also stream the episodes the following day on Paramount+ if you do happen to miss them.

This does seem like a lengthy break, especially when you consider that a lot of NBC and ABC shows are coming back at the start of January. However, CBS has opted for mid-December midseason finale dates, so the break is around the same as the other two networks. This is going to be a good thing as the other networks start to take breaks in the middle of the schedule and CBS doesn’t have to take as many.

What to expect when FBI: International returns

There are a lot of questions about one particular character in FBI: International. It’s all about Agent Cameron Vo, who was shot in the line of duty. While she initially made it through surgery, there were complications. Raines delivered the bad news that there was a chance she wouldn’t make it.

This is going to hit Wes Mitchell hard. The injury was while going after Csonka, who was responsible for Mitchell’s previous partner’s death. Mitchell and Booth have agreed that when it comes to finding Csonka, their badges will be removed. They are going to dish out some vigilante revenge.

The rest of the team are shattered with the news, especially Smitty and Raines. They have known Vo the longest, and we saw what Vo and Smitty were like when it was Raines’s life on the line in the FBI: International season 3 premiere. There are chances that we won’t see Vo die, but this will leave a lasting mark on the team.

FBI: International will return on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 9/8c in CBS.
