Emma Watson has a new beau, and we're here for it!
According to E!News, the Harry Potter alum recently confirmed her ongoing romance with Oxford classmate Kieran Brown. Since verifying the budding relationship, the studious pair have been seen "packing on the PDA" during a day date to Gail's Bakery in Jericho, Oxford.
The couple shared an intimate kiss outside the establishment, as seen on E!News. The world-renowned scholar is currently in the process of obtaining a masters degree in literature, and Brown is working towards his PhD in 19th century literature and economics. Watson stepped away from acting in 2020 to focus on her studies, telling British Vogue in December 2023 that she's never felt more creative and free, but is thankful for what working in the entertainment industry has brought her.
"I'm just so glad that I did because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don't think I did before—more autonomy. I'm so glad that I allowed things to be messy for a minute and to really allow myself to not know [what's next], because the knowing that I've come to, I wouldn't trade that for anything."
The star made her acting debut when she was just 11-years-old, and never looked back. Now, at 34, Watson has chosen to pursue other passions, but that doesn't mean she's done acting forever. Aside from Brown and her studies, Watson is kept busy with her adorable rescue dog Sofia whom she praises for being "good at the basics" and making her very happy.
