Big Brother season 26’s recent evictee Cedric Hodges shared which alliance in the game he feels is in major trouble after the last Head Of Household competition. Cedric, the fourth evicted houseguest of Big Brother season 26, was blindsided during the recent live eviction episode. When three of his alliance mates–T’Kor Clottey, Kimo Apaka, and Joseph Rodriguez–chose to flip the vote to save Rubina Bernabe and send Cedric home, chaos erupted inside the Big Brother house. While Cedric is out of the game, his time spent in the house gives him a unique perspective on what’s happening after his eviction.
"[They] kind of spread their lies and deceit so they can roll with it.”
After his eviction from the game, the Big Brother 26 cast competed in the classic wall endurance competition, and Tucker Des Lauriers won his first Head Of Household title, beating out the remaining members of Cedric’s former Pentagon alliance in an impressive feat. Cedric shared with Us Weekly that now the alliance is definitely in danger. “Brooklyn [Rivera] is gonna have a really hard time because she campaigned for me so hard,” Cedric shared. “I believe that the other two, Cam [Sullivan-Brown] and Chelsie [Baham], kind of spread their lies and deceit so they can roll with it.”
Cedric Hodges Claims Tucker Lacks “Social Aspect” Needed To Win
Tucker’s Gameplay Has Been Destructive
While Tucker's won six competitions in a matter of five weeks, Cedric shared that he doesn’t believe his former Big Brother 26 housemate has what it takes to win Big Brother. “I don’t think he’s long for the game. He’s weighed too much on the competitiveness of Big Brother and lacks the social aspect,” Cedric explained. While Tucker has been able to win competitions in the most opportune moments of the game, he’s seen as a massive threat in the game, which could make it harder for people to choose to align with him throughout the rest of the season.
Even though Cedric has experience with Tucker in a one-on-one way, from an outside perspective, Tucker’s been doing the best he can for his social game with a massive target on his back. While he’s got to account for his physical and mental abilities in the competition, the unbelievably large target on his back could help in the future, as other players may feel compelled to keep him around to use as a shield. Tucker’s main alliance, 6th avenue, has been working well with the competition beast after Cedric’s eviction and will likely keep him safe for the moment being.
As Big Brother continues, Tucker’s abilities will be something that either make or break his game. After helping T’Kor and Kimo orchestrate the flip to save Rubina, whom he has a tentative showmance with in the Big Brother house, Tucker was able to win a crucial competition and pull in both Joseph and Angela Murray, securing the majority alliance in the house. For Cedric’s former alliance, the Pentagon, things have been crumbling around them as they’ve moved through the fallout of their former member's eviction. While Cedric’s no longer in the Big Brother house, his eviction helped kickstart the game.
Big Brother airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT and Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
