Big Brother 26 houseguest Brooklyn Rivera was evicted by a vote of 8-1 over Cam Sullivan-Brown, and now host Julie Chen Moonves has revealed why she thinks Brooklyn's plan to avoid eviction failed. Big Brother 26 week 5 Head of Household (HOH) Tucker Des Lauriers made it appear that his target was Quinn Martin, but he was actually after Brooklyn. Although he was once in the Five Pointz alliance with Brooklyn, he knew that she was also in the Collective and the Pentagon alliances. He saved Quinn with the Power of Veto in order to put his plan in motion.
"They know between [Brooklyn] and Cam, she is more of a threat."
In an interview with EW, Julie was asked about Brooklyn's strategy of telling the houseguests to keep her in the game as a target. She warned them that they were all playing for second place. Julie shared that she thinks Brooklyn was evicted "because they know between her and Cam, she is more of a threat."Brooklyn also told Julie that Quinn is the big bad wolf, and they should all be scared of him. Julie agreed, stating, "He tells you right to your face in Diary Room that he is nefarious and a liar and not to be trusted."

The BB A.I. Arena Competition Took A Long Time
Although nominee Chelsie Baham eventually secured her safety by winning the BB A.I. Arena competition, the game took longer than usual. Julie admitted that she was getting worried about how long it was going to take someone to finish the competition. She said, "Yes, I was! I thought, 'Oh no! We are NOT GETTING OFF THE AIR ON TIME!'" Live competitions are always unpredictable, and they keep everyone on the edges of their seats.
It was disappointing to see Brooklyn leave the Big Brother 26 house so early. She was a great player with a lot of potential. However, she got caught in too many alliances, so Tucker did what he had to do in order to eliminate her as a threat. Brooklyn is right, though, that Quinn is an even bigger threat than her. She made a great point when she said that Quinn is a dangerous player of whom the houseguests should be scared. It's going to be very interesting to see if the houseguests target Quinn moving forward.
The Big Brother 26 A.I. Arena competition has revitalized the game. It prevents the backdooring of houseguests, which is very exciting to see. In addition, the element of suspense as the competition plays out live right before the eviction makes the game much more challenging for the houseguests, and much more exciting for the viewers. It'll be intriguing to see how much longer this twist lasts. It's possible that it could end once the jury begins. However, for now, it's helping Big Brother live up to its motto, "expect the unexpected."
